Flinders Foundation

Flinders Foundation works together with individuals and organisations in the community to support health and medical research and improve patient care across the Flinders medical precinct.

They raise vital funds to support the leading clinicians and researchers across Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders University to make medical discoveries and improve the care available to patients and their families.

Backpacks for SA Kids

Aims to relieve some of the stress and anxiety children face when they are removed from their family, often in traumatic situations and without the opportunity to take any personal belongings with them.

They provide emergency clothing, toiletries and other necessary supplies (such as nappies and bottles for children aged 0-16 years who are taken into care due to neglect or abuse, those needing to quickly leave their homes due to family violence, and those experiencing homelessness.

Special Children Big Day Out – Lions Cancer Institute (WA) Inc

The Lions Cancer Institute Special Children’s Big Day Out is an annual for disadvantaged children, creating magical moments for Australian’s children in need.

The Lions Cancer Institute (WA) Inc. is all about relieving the incidence and burden of cancer now and for the future through skin screening, research, education, outreach and advocacy of prevention and treatment.

Maranatha Health

Maranatha Health is an Australian and Ugandan not-for-profit organisation committed to raising health outcomes, empowering the poor, and making positive, lasting change for the rural people of Uganda.

They focus on the holistic health, wellbeing and resilience of communities. They are very aware of the limitations of direct service provision and operate on the basis that treating the symptoms of ill health cannot, in itself, create long-term change: it must be paired with preventing people from getting sick in the first place.
