A message to our Elizabeth Vale Families

We have postponed the decision to close our Elizabeth Vale rooms for quite some time, in the hope that we could eventually turn things around, however sadly in the end, the increasingly challenging environment has made this impossible.

We have been working hard behind the scenes with our dedicated Elizabeth Vale practitioners to facilitate ongoing supports for families affected, at alternative Adelaide Paediatrics locations, or via Telehealth if appropriate.

We also placed a high priority on ensuring ongoing job security to our wonderful Elizabeth Vale administration staff; however some team members have made the decision to secure alternative employment in the Elizabeth Vale area. We would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication and wish them all the very best in their new roles.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the amazing team of practitioners who poured an incredible amount of care into supporting children and families at Adelaide Paediatrics' Elizabeth Vale clinic over the last 8 years. 

We will do our utmost to support families through the transition. We sincerely apologise for any upheaval caused as a result of the closure and thank you for being a very special part of our Elizabeth Vale Family.

What you can do to help

We would appreciate some government support in helping us return paediatric services to the North, such as revoking the impost for payroll tax on sole trader practitioners, increasing Medicare funding after years of static rebates, and rental/cost of living assistance. If you feel passionate about this like we do, please take it to your local Member of Parliament or write a letter to the media and the state government about our predicament. If you can help lobby it would be greatly appreciated!
