    Qualifications: MBBS MS MCh FRACS

    Dr Bhanu Mariyappa is an experienced paediatric surgeon and paediatric urologist. He brings a broad range of experience in managing paediatric surgical conditions.

    Dr Mariyappa obtained a Masters in Laparoscopic Surgery from the Adelaide University in 2010, and a Fellowship in Paediatric Surgery (FRACS) from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2015.  He currently holds the position of Senior Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and Paediatric Urologist at Adelaide Women's and Children's Hospital.

    Dr Mariyappa is a member of Australia and New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons (ANZAPS) and Society of Paediatric Urology, New Zealand and Australia (SPUNZA).  He is actively involved in surgical education and training.

    Bhanu’s clinical interests are Neonatal Surgery, Paediatric Urology, Laparoscopic Surgery and General Paediatric Surgery.

    Bhanu enjoys working in collaboration with general practitioners and paediatricians to provide high-quality care while supporting children and their families.

    Bhanu consults in his private practice at Adelaide Paediatrics Ashford location every Wednesday afternoon; and performs associated procedures at Memorial Hospital.
