Assessments

Psycho-Educational Assessment
Learning difficulties can severely hinder learning and enjoyment of school and the education experience. A psycho-educational assessment is performed by a psychologist and provides information regarding a child’s intellectual capacity, or cognitive functioning, and their academic achievement. Once the difficulties are assessed and identified, the journey of intervention and support will start for your child. Giftedness and Intellectual Disability can also be assessed.

Auditory Processing Disorder Assessment
APD is a problem with the way the ears and brain work together to understand sound. Children with APD have normal peripheral hearing, but difficulty recognising and interpreting the sounds they hear. Audiologists are the only professionals qualified to diagnose APD. Our APD assessment is delivered in a fun and engaging way for the comfort of your child.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment
What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? What are the indicators of ASD? Does my child need an assessment? What are the options for assessment? Why is getting a diagnosis important?
