Paediatrics
A paediatrician is a doctor who provides specialist care to babies, children and adolescents. They have specialist training in the wide range of diseases and illnesses that affect children. Paediatricians are also knowledgeable in how babies, children and adolescents grow and develop.
The Adelaide Paediatrics paediatricians are all highly qualified and very experienced in working with children and the broad range of issues they can have. Our paediatricians are all trained in Australia and are members of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
Your child might see a paediatrician for further assessment or treatment of:

- syndromes such as Down Syndrome or Fragile X Syndrome

Our paediatricians also service several private hospitals in Adelaide providing neonatal care immediately from birth to make sure everything is okay with your baby.
